Custom Parts

Aavid Thermalloy offers 42 different base profiles to which fins with heights from 25mm to 140mm (1.0 inch to 5.5 inches) can be attached. Performance datasheets can be generated for any combination of base profile, fin height, and length.

All Profiles will be shown with 50mm (2in) fins, 150mm (6 inch) long heat sink, and 2 m/s (400 LFM) air flow. These parameters can be changed to fufill your specific needs by building a custom part number.

Enter the length, air velocity and your maximum thermal resistance required and press the Calculate button. All base/fin height solutions meeting the thermal resistance requirement will be returned.

Clicking Calculate with no inputs will calculate all profiles with 50mm (2in) fins, 150mm (6 inch) long heat sink, and 2 m/s (400 LFM) air flow.
